Stretch Therapy

As a life-long dancer, Jess first experienced stretching primarily on the floor and ballet barre. She began running 8 years ago and in 2017, trained for and completed a trail marathon. Stretching has always been a practice for preventative care both in her running pursuits and professional dance and teaching careers.

In 2020 Jess became a certified Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise and in 2021 was hired by Stretchlab. She went through Stretchlab’s nationally accredited training program specializing in PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) one-on-one assisted stretching and received a certificate to become a Flexologist. 

Jess has been able to serve a wide variety of clients experiencing sports injuries, work injuries, stiffness, aging, chronic pain and pregnancy as well as clients looking to prevent injury or increase in flexibility for hobbies or professional sports careers. 

In 2023 Jess launched her company Holistic Body Healing, which offers Stretch Therapy and Breathwork Meditation Sessions. Holistic Body Healing will soon offer Reiki and Expressive Arts Therapy. Stretch Therapy Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes in length and offered on a massage table. Your session can be a full body experience or focused on particular areas of the body. In addition to the restorative hands-on stretch, and breathwork, she also utilizes a Hypervolt (massage gun) to stimulate the muscles, prevent cramping and aid in relaxation. 

Clients who experience Jess’s stretches not only feel relief in their body due to an increase in flexibility, but they also describe a reduction in anxiety. Jess’s nurturing approach and body strength allow clients to feel safe in her hands
​which allows them to relax and expand.
