Bio
Jess Coffman is an entertainer, choreographer and director primarily in the Musical Theatre industry. She has toured singing and dancing nationally and internationally. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Industry Studies from California State University Northridge, and during that time completed internships at both Capitol Records in the Marketing Department and Paramount Studios in the Film Music Department.
She has performed with nationally acclaimed theatre companies such as Tuacahn Amphitheatre (2012, 2019), Alabama Shakespeare Festival (2014), Sacramento Music Circus (2015), Transcendence Theatre Company (2015-2021) and The Troubadour Theatre Company (2018, 2021). She was "Dusty Springfield," in All Her Faces: A Portrait of Dusty Springfield Off-Broadway (2014), Lead Singer in the National Tour of Hooray for Hollywood (2013) and Dance Captain and Female Swing aboard the Disney Dream Cruise Ship (2011-2012).
In 2018 Jess was the associate director/choreographer alongside Matthew Rossoff, with their creation of the original show Big Top Dreamers at Transcendence Theatre Company. In 2021 Jess had her directing and choreography debut with the original production of Road Trip also at Transcendence Theatre Company.
In the fall of 2021 Jess had an all time career high performing for Liza Minelli in The Troubadour Theatre Company's production of LIZASTRATA at the Getty Villa. Jess won a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for her choreography in LIZASTRATA.
Jess is a member of Actor's Equity Association.
